Over the course of the three-day event, the festival mesmerised audiences with captivating performances from the most successful and innovative choirs

The Christian Festival of Arts and Culture (FESCAC) concluded its highly anticipated second edition yesterday at the National Museum, providing a platform for talented artistes to showcase their creativity and celebrate unity. The cultural extravaganza, which ran from July 14 to 16, was held under the theme "the celebration of unity at the heart of the nation".

The opening ceremony, chaired by the Minister of Arts and Culture, Pierre Ismaël Bidoung Kpwatt, saw the presence of prominent government figures including the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, highlighting the significance of the event in promoting artistic expression and cultural diversity.

Over the course of three days, the festival mesmerized audiences with captivating performances from the most successful and innovative choirs, as well as seasoned artistes and national stars. The artistes delivered original and culturally enriching showcases that resonated with attendees.

Seamless Organisation

During his speech, the Minister of Arts and Culture commended the selected choirs for their commitment to creativity and excellence in the field of art and culture, particularly in gospel music. He encouraged them to continue their pursuit of innovation, emphasizing the profound impact that their work can have on society.

Expressing her gratitude, the promoter of the Christian Festival of Arts and Culture, Mrs Ondo Ondo Nadège, extended her appreciation to MINAC who not only sponsored the event, but also played a vital role in its successful execution. The collaboration between FESCAC and MINAC ensured the festival's seamless organisation and enabled participants to showcase their talents on a grand stage.
